| I saw Atlantis. hehe |
[September 09, 2006 @ 4:12pm] |
Guess what?! We went to Titusville today to see the launch of the space shuttle Atlantis from Cape Carneveral. Omg, it was just so freaking amazing!! I never thought i'd ever see a rocket going off. We went to the bank of the Indian river and we could see the shuttle really big right across on the other side, it was almost like in tv. I'm totally frealed out cause I still cant believe it. I felt I needed to talk to someone at home and tell them what just had happened, but of course i didnt reach anyone. Everybody was probably out partying or something, just like everytime that I call. Well whatever, I need to find my stupid converter for that I can finally charge my laptop and start my english essay. [ mood | excited ]

Alrighty people, I see I haven't posted much about my life in the us, but I'm going to from now on.
Let's start with last weeked. On Saturday I slept late and hung out later with Kelly at her place, just some random stuff...Sunday I basically worked on my Chemistry Lab I didn't really have anything else to do cause Ash was working and Geoff and 'lil Goeff went to Orlando to some sports store. On Monday (Labor Day) I went to Flagler Beach with Kell where we later met Becca and Devon with his girlfriend. Yup that was pretty much my weekend.
Week didn't start to great on Tuesday, I got a 77 on the Algebra test, omg I didn't think I had sucked that bad. Yesterday we had a Chemistry test and a Spanish quiz, got a 25 / 30 in chem and a 100 in spanish *yay*
Today there was this Theology test I messed up on big times. I'm serious when everybody else had already turned in their tests I was still struggling with the 3rd question. Oh well, I just hope it won't bring my average down to much.
Tomorrow will be literary terms quiz in AmLit and I kinda have to get busy on the summer reading essays on either Huck Finn or Fahrenheit 451. That's kinda hard for me though cause i've only like read like half of Huck Finn and no Fahrenheit at all since I didn't know about the summer reading books. I also have to bring a book for outside reading on monday and I have no idea which one to pick. [b]Suggestions anybody? [/b] I think we're gonna go to bealls later cause Ashley needs some new shoes, so this is my opportunity to find something for her birthday which is next monday. Again: Suggestions anyone?

| host family |
[August 01, 2006 @ 7:03pm] |
YAY! I finally got a host family! It's kinda last minute, but I'm really glad!
Ok here it goes:
host parents: Geoff (40) and Diane (40) children: Ashley (16), Geoffrey, (12) and Jeremy (8) (lol I always wanted siblings) pets: a dog and a budgie location: Bunell
They still live like 30 miles away from my school, but I was told that Ashley would be driving to school every morning herself, so if she attends the same school as I do, then she's probably gonna give me a ride.
I'm gonna call them tonight...

| host family trouble |
[July 29, 2006 @ 1:21am] |
Many of you know that already, but for those you don't, I'll be leaving for Florida on August 7 where I'm gonna live as an exchange student with a host family. Who this is going to be in specific I don't even know yet. I had a host family already but turned out that woman was pregnant and that they can't host anyone. So there's only really little time left for these people who arrange my stay abroad to find someone else I can live with, even if it's only temprorary. My flight however is booked and fix which means they actually have to find a solution fast. Wish me luck that everything goes well...
